Warrington HealthWatch

Warrington HealthWatch

We have been successful in our proposal for the Warrington HealthWatch Pathfinder!! LINks are to evolve into HealthWatch in October 2012 and Warrington has been chosen to support this development by becoming a HealthWatch Pathfinder!

"Your champion for [rights in] health and social care"

"Your voice in health and social care, locally and nationally"

Warrington HealthWatch will:
Promote and support the involvement of Warrington people, public, patients, and service users - in the commissioning, provision and scrutiny of local health and social care services;
Obtain the views of people about their need for and experiences of local health and social care services;
Raise concerns of local people with those responsible for commissioning, providing, managing and scrutinising health and social care services.
Provide advice and information to enable people to make choices about health and social care, which local authorities commission.
Have a formal relationship with the Care Quality Commission sharing intelligence.
Have a role in relation to the engagement and involvement activity carried out by GP Commissioning Consortia

Look out for more information on the Pathfinder work over the next few months. We will be carrying on with the work of the LINk

The LINks/ HealthWatch is open to everyone and should represent the whole community. Groups, individuals and organisations all have a part to play in giving their views on local services. The LINks are set up in a way that allows members to decided for themselves how they are involved and how much time they give to it.

Tell us your views

We are still collecting your views on your experiences of the NHS and social care. We all want to see services improving. The best way to do that is to let the NHS know what patients really feel. If you had a good experience it is important to let the staff know how well they did. If you think things could improved, it is also important that they know your views.

You can tell us your views by emailing us at warringtonlink@theBHA.org.uk or writing to us using our Freepost address
